Mullet Man Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 what are you guys paying to have a frame powder coated? i got a quote from a place in Decatur IL called Strip Masters. they want $50-$60 to PC my blaster frame in black and close to double that for media blasting  every other place i called wanted $150 and up for PC work only, not including blasting. i think at that price, i will have them do some other pieces as well! kaotik1 Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 Not a bad deal. Blaster frames are pretty small we get 225 for a blaster frame prep'd and coated Quote
okbeast Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 I can get everything that can be PC'd on a banshee done for around $175, and that's for a dual coat process...not bad IMO. Quote
Duner440 Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 I dont know okbeast, I can think of a lot of things off of my Banshee that I would powdercoat. You sure $175 would cover it? Or do you just have a hook up and that is your price only? Quote
woodro77 Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 shops around me ( new york ) want 300 bucks to pc banshee frames Quote
DaveVato Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 I got my done for $110, sand blasted, PC'ed and several coats of clear. http://www.gladwinmetalprocessing.com/ Of course that could have been the military discount, not sure. They do amazing work! Quote
kaotik1 Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 shops around me ( new york ) want 300 bucks to pc banshee frames Yeah we get 300 for a banshee frame with a single stage color. Thats baked, sandblasted, every hole plugged, and the bearing areas taped. Quote
Ben Michalak Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 really i think it depends on color, i paid like less then $300 for pc in transparent blue and blasting for my blaster frame, blaster roundhouse swingarm, and upper LT arms. I think that was pretty good, but when i get my shee i want to get alot of stuff pced but i need to find somewhere more local if i can, last time i shipped all of it off. Ben Quote
