BlackBarron Posted March 11, 2007 Report Posted March 11, 2007 i just got my v-force 3's and mikuni tm 34mm on and the thumb throttle is very stiff. so stiff that it is hard to ride all i can do is speed shift. i looked to see if there was anything pinching the line or something making it stiff but nothing. does anyone have this problem with there bike? or does it loosen up after a while? thanks Quote
HardIzZlE Posted March 11, 2007 Report Posted March 11, 2007 my mikuni 34mm carbs are hard too but you will get used to it after a lil bit a hour or so into the ride you wont feel it Quote

The Honda throttles have a totally different ratio. everyone I know with banshees run them, even some of the YFZ's have them Quote
ClimbAnyHill Posted March 12, 2007 Report Posted March 12, 2007 There's a thread going around right now where the carb springs are being cut to soften up that thumb throttle. Quote
mpbanshee Posted March 12, 2007 Report Posted March 12, 2007 I have the same carbs, and mine was really stiff also. I cut a little bit off of both springs, and it is much better now. Quote
