Boost bottle doesn't do a damn thing performance wise....They just take up space..There was reason behind them made but that reason is unknown to most people. Just because it says boost bottle doesn't mean it adds any boost of any sort...the bottle attaches to the carbs boots and not to the carbs. you can get a set of carbs boots that don't have the holes for the bottle or just get the OEM boots with the cross over tube. uallsuk03 Posted March 6, 2007 Author Report Posted March 6, 2007 so the boost bottle doesnt do a thing it's just thier for looks basically Quote
theshee Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 Yup, doesnt do a dang thing. Just looks. I would personally take it off, get a stock intake tube and replace it. I hate how cluttered it looks with that bottle under there. Even better then that is getting some intakes that have that cross over built in so you dont have that stupid tube at all... Quote
375hp banshees Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 WELCOME  boy you got off easy on that question might want to check this out before it gets to deep newbee's Quote
fast500#12 Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 get rid of that shit as soon as posible and go back to the stock cross over tube. it will rip your intake boots. it may not be to day, it may not be tommarrow, but it will get you sooner or later. Quote
uallsuk03 Posted March 7, 2007 Author Report Posted March 7, 2007 the bike had it when i bought it. and i am thinkin about different carbs so should i really worry about takin it off for now. this bike looked like hell when i bought it so i couldnt really see anything that was on it. Quote
dajogejr Posted March 7, 2007 Report Posted March 7, 2007 If you're looking to clean the bike up, and have the cash....I recommend the intakes with a crossover built in. They are not only trick looking, but they clean up that area for ease of maintenance quite well... MajicMike sells a nice set of intakes on here for a very reasonable price....with the built in crossover. Quote
