Trick2stroke Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 They should work fine for trails, they would be too soft for mx though I'm sure. Rest assured they'll perform leaps and bounds over the stockers. Quote
kaotik1 Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 Couple things make sure they are right for your weight. Are they compression abd rebound adjustable? If they are you will be able to get them really close to trail ready. What kind are they? You can have most re-valved to your ride style for under 150 bucks usually Quote
SantaCruz_2_stroke Posted March 5, 2007 Author Report Posted March 5, 2007 i've been looking at works & elka these are works their only preload correct weight but i figured they might work 4 now and have them revalved and upgraded to adj rez later thanks guys Quote
adrenaline junky Posted March 7, 2007 Report Posted March 7, 2007 If they are dune revalved they should be extra soft. MX is the hardest. Desert is the second softest. trail is in between. Quote
squish Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 He is right about in the middle. My works pro triple were mx and were harsh on small bumps at slow speed. Mx is a high speed set up seems to ride nice at high speeds. My axis are for woods racing and are lot more plush. Dip hard in braking and turns. Quote
