Quote from UPS was $125 so I went to FedEx and asked how much it'd be to ship it if it was just shrink-wrapped and they told me right around $100. Now this is for the front and rear piece only. I'm like 2" over the regular limit so I keep getting hit with the oversize charge. I don't need these and wanna get rid of 'em but also want to get some $ out of it and not blow it all on shipping...any other ideas?

i shipped s set of rear tires out last week , i charged 30 bucks shipping i figured that would cover it , the buyer had a address that started with RR , that means rural road , that means he lives in the middle of no where. the shipping was like 50 bucks .

Yeah shipping tires and frames and just large shit in general is a pain and expensive. They were going to charge me 40 bucks to ship some front tires priority so I downgraded it to parcel post and got the price down to 18. I had to do so because otherwise I would have just been loosing my ass on the sale. Live and learn I guess.

DHL was the cheapest for me when i had to ship a full set of Mojave fenders.UPS wanted $130 and DHL was $65.I've found that if your shipping bigger things like tires, wheels, stuff like that.DHL tends to be cheaper.I use the Post Office for the smaller stuff.

Word. That's what I have done in the past. Some bubble wrap around the edges is also nice.
