I knowe somone that has a Outty 800 and he beat a stock 450 by about a quad link.

I have a dirt wheels mag forget what issue without looking , but anyway they test a modified outlander . They were testing it against a stock yfz 450 , and claimed that the outlander will beat the yfz pretty easily and tops out around 90 mph . I don't know though thats just what they say , but 90 mph on a 4x4 sounds hard to believe to me .

My stock outlander will go 80mph stock. Thats what the speedo says i have never been timed. :shrug:

The local Yamaha dealer here in Topeka just got one. I think they are stupid looking. One of the parts guys down there said there was a guy down at Little Sahara (Oklahoma) and he was kickin ass on the drag strip. :shrug:

i looked at one last weekend and thought it looked pretty cool for a 4x4,then i saw the price. but they do stand behind them my dealer said they came with a 3 year warranty thats pretty good compared to the bullshit warranty the others give you . 6 months on a quad that cost 7k is just wrong they should give you a year at the least
