jlsparky7 Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 Just wondering a good website where I could pick up a good greese gun with a flexable neck. I need to be able to hit all the quick disconnect spots on the suspension and all I have access to is a gun with a straight neck. Any help or advice is appreciated. Quote
LiftdT4R Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 I got a grease gun from Pep Boys, it is a rigid neck, but with a bend in it, you can turn it different ways, and I havent had a problem with it. I have to jack up the bike to get some of the zerks underneath, but it works fine. I think it's made by PowerBuilt, but there are a million companies that make that style. Quote
jlsparky7 Posted February 18, 2007 Author Report Posted February 18, 2007 Alright sweet, any chance you remember how much it ran you? Quote
LiftdT4R Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 Alright sweet, any chance you remember how much it ran you? It was the cheapest one there, like $10 or so, it works decent actually. Just check out the picture on the front of the box, because some have the straight neck, some have the "bent" neck. Quote
jlsparky7 Posted February 18, 2007 Author Report Posted February 18, 2007 will do, Thanks for the tips and advice. Quote
FireHead Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 It sounds like you have an excuse to go to Walmart. Quote
nunyabinness Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 you should be able to pick up a flexible tube to replace the rigid one. Quote
FireHead Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 you should be able to pick up a flexible tube to replace the rigid one. That is what I did with mine. I believe that a company named Plews tends to make alot of high quality greas gun type equipment. Quote
REFLOYD Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 just go to NAPA and tell them that you need a grease gun with a flexable tube on it Quote
