r/atvshee Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 250r's are very fun for sure. i beat a piped banshee last weekend with my moms 250r. kinda suprised me. They are well worth it and the power is way smoother than a banshee Quote
bansheefourseven Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 If they would have made one 10 years newer Id would have bought one of them before a banshee. Now that I have ridden the banshee Ill never look elsewhere. Although I must say the new raptor700r se with the yfz 450 shocks on it has winked at me a few times. Faster with damn near the same handling only a little heavier and much more comfortable. Oh yeah elec start and reverse too. Its not a banshee but I got one of those too. LOL Quote
korndawg Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 Ouch... I thought Honda stuck it out until 1991 like Suzuki. It looks like they stopped making them in 1989 according to Kelly Blue Book. Sad part is... I remember those days and I could swear they made them for those last couple years. They only made the TRX 250R for four years, 86-89 Quote

LOL i have looked at the raptor se also , dirt wheels mag gave it a good write up , they said it handled great with those yfz shocks . i bet that 700 will make huge power if you start modding it Quote
