Ilstang Posted February 10, 2007 Report Posted February 10, 2007 hey guys i am pretty new to the world of banshees and the banshee hq thing i just recently got back from iraq and found my previous banshee was stolen and got a new one that needs some work i need someone to come help look it over maybe hear it run help me get it running put new parts on teach me ect i dont mind paying or supplying the beer i am new to the illinois area and dont know anybody and really wanna get this running and running right asap any help or numbers and names of anyone that lives near mascoutah illinois and is willing to help would be greatly appreciated thanks Quote

Chase_Man Posted February 10, 2007 Report Posted February 10, 2007 hey ok i will try contacting him i can do things on my own i just dont know much about banshees and am new to them so i wanna watch and learn and i dunno i just recently got the bike havent had much time around it just wanna meet some knowledgeable friends and rididng buddies and to learn all i can thanks before you get all busy on the banshee i think most of the people here would say that you should junk the stock air box and pick up a decient aftermarket one. just do to the design flaw that Yamaha corp didnt address in 20 years ( they just decided to can the line) main thing is to get the fuel mixture right get a service manual off of the site here and keep posting and reading what every one else has done to make the machine a animal and go off of that. thats al i can say i would like to help but i am almost 8-9hrs away Quote

Banshee runs like crap in this weather but when you do get it running well it is tons of ice racing up here if you can take the cold Quote
