When you get out to .080, which is the eighth bore size.

Actually...you can use them up to .100, but...after .080, you're really thin on the waterjacket to cylinder material.

I know someone will chime in and say theirs runs great, no problems...yadda yadda about being at .100...but, it's thin.

Once you get to a big bore piston, 68mm or larger, you'll need domes cut.

Haha you called it.. I had a .100 over motor that ran awesome for 2 seasons. Still never blew it up, changed cylinders to get some porting and some more reliability!! It is thin, and did run warm sometimes but never had any problems with it. Id say depending on your budget, you can use your cyls to .100 over, just make sure you have a dependable builder.

he was asking how much you can bore it over before its a big bore... not the maximum bore you can take it out to if i read it right...

.080 until you hit 68mm which is bb

.100 is the max you can bore it before you need it resleeved
