Do keihn carbs actually make your quad faster than mikunis? Say i get porting done to my banshee, and i wanted to get 35mm carbs, if i got 35mm keihns, would they make my quad faster 35mm mikunis, because im on a total budget.

got a 4mm crank, big bore jugs and run 35mm TMX mikunis with no probs. although,in dyno testing it,s been proven that the keihin 35mm airstrykers make more hp. the difference is minimal in my opinion.

The biggest thing I have ever heard is you can switch a mikuni back and forth from alky, and once a keihin is alky it stays alky. I just think that keihins are easier to do stuff with.

I have 41 mm mukunis on one bike and 39 keihins on the other. there is no differance in power. The differance comes in to areas. like said before you can switch a mukuni back and forth from gas to meth and the keihin is one or the other. The this is the resone why I like keihins the pull the mukuni will kill your thumb no matter how much you cut the springs. but like I said I have both and they perform the same.

I've always felt like I had more adjustment with the keihin's, but maybe that's just me. I feel like I can do more fine tuning with the keihin carbs. Maybe I'm just crazy. I've never liked mikuni carbs.
