rotty150 Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 Hey guys can you give me an idea of a starting point on jetting/needle clip my 34 pj's at 200ft. Mods are K&T built 7 mill, 110 race fuel, cpi inframes. Quote
Bansh-eman Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 well at sea level i was running 155 on a smaller motor.. soyour going to be close to that maybe one or two sizes smaller Quote
Bansh-eman Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 (edited) 2000ft sorry not 200 yea i know what you ment... from sea lvl to 1500 its pretty much the same so you would only need to change one maybe two sizes thats will get you close then do some plug chops and get it spot on Edited January 21, 2007 by Bansh-eman Quote
Lethaface Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 I am at 2,000 feet as well.. On my PJ's i ran a 155 main, 45 pilots and needle clip in middle position..That was on a stock stroke drag ported motor with CPI inframes..I was a little rich but i prefer it that way.. Quote
wesw Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 50-58 pilot needle you didnt say. 145-155 mains most likely. needle would be helpful Quote
kfngrn Posted January 28, 2007 Report Posted January 28, 2007 I have a single 34mm PJ and have had 52 pilot and 205 main with the needle around the middle. Quote
Banchetta Posted February 5, 2007 Report Posted February 5, 2007 I'm running a 4 mil stroker w/ mx port and shearer pipes w/ 34pj. I'm running a 58 pilot, 172 mains, needle 3rd clip.....This is for sea level and between 50-80 degrees temperature... My guess on a 7 mil w/ CPI's would be about the same since your elevation is a little higher, but I would up the mains for colder temps.. Quote
