Nope, ended up buying a brand new never run 10 mil for a good price I couldn't beat.

I think you mean the guy that had the 7 mil that needed plating over on PS, right?

I mulled and mulled that over...in the end, for less hassle of sending it out for plating, etc., cutting domes to run a 10 mil up in the head, a 10 mil brand new casting at the price I paid was worth it.

I was very, very close to buying a pair of 10's off Jeff, but...in the end I got the best bang for my buck...:)

Yeah that was the one. I saw he had a 7 and a 10 for sale. I thought you was the one who got the 10.

So where exactly is the track in relation to the LS "riding area"?

It is off the north campground entrance. When entering the north campground you will see a couple of trailers on the left selling flags and firewood. Turn in right there and it is over the hill behind those trailers.

Yes, I will second that. Jim is a STAND up guy !!!!!

He also has one of the FASTEST tracks around ( from what I have heard, and times I have seen), But thats not all thats FAST there!!!!!! Anyone who does go might want to watch out for Jims son, that young man can ride!! He is pretty damn fast too

Jim is definetly awesome to deal with. If you go to LS, and find that you need parts, you definetly want to go see Jim at Jim's sand toys, instead of wasting your time and your money with Don over at LS powersports. Even if you don't need parts, you should swing by Jim's to check out what he has or if nothing else, just to say hello. He is an awesome guy, and has always been more than willing to help anytime we needed anything while we were out there.

One of my buddies bought the 10 mill with 7mm castings. He's puttin it in +20 GT rigid. Should be a fairly quick bike.

I know there used to be camping at sandrat haven, which is where the drag strip is, but not sure if there still is. If not, the dragstrip is really close to the north campground for the state park.
