But on the DumontDuneRiders page it also has another event, Feb 24th, 2007: Banshee Wars V- Banshee Hill Feb 24th weekend: 4 Stroke Challenge Series- Comp Hill that sucks because i'm going to be out to sea on the 24th of feb or else i would go. I'm going to go to glamis on the first weekend in feb and then the 2nd weekend of feb i'm going with my pops out to dumont. i don't care where i ride either dumnt or glamis as long as i'm in the sand!!!!! wwhite749 Posted January 16, 2007 Author Report Posted January 16, 2007 right on thanks for the info.. i think my buddies and i are goin out in march im to fix all the little problems with my bike before we go out there, ive been to glamis a couple times and i used to hate it there, alwasy liked ocotillo better, but now that im older i would rather cruz the sand (alot nicer on the bike& body) Quote
letsgetthisdone Posted January 16, 2007 Report Posted January 16, 2007 (edited) its been like a year , the one to the east of vendors you talking about to the left of where you go through the whoops but closer to the road? last time i was out that hill was all uneven not near flat enough to race up...thats a good hill if its flattened out some casue its tall and steep.. Ya, thats the one, and the actual "face" faces kinda westish, it has flattened out a lot. You go can at least 10 bikes wide up it. and it is hella steep, 3rd gear most the way and 2nd for the last 75 feet or so with my bikes current setup on 8 paddle haulers. It'll pull 4th all the way up comp and the hill to the left of comp but not that one. Its an awesome place to ride, you should try to make it back out there sometime.
