It doesn't actually increase low end power. It just shifts the entire powerband to where itcomes on a lot earlier and signs off about 500-700 rpm's earlier than the stock carbs. But there is more power everywhere, including up top.

Feeding a Banshee is really feeding 2 175s rather than 1 350. The cylinders are running oposite each other as far as timing goes, so you only have 1 cylinder taking fuel at any given time. With a 2 into 1 carb set up, the flow of air is more consistant as air is always moving through it, just changing from left to right cylinders, while each carb on a duel carb set up is constantly having the air flow interupted as the phase of the cylinder changes. The result is that a 2-1 setup will give much better throttle response in the lower to mid rpm ranges. The top end power is about equal to the stock carbs, but not as good as large duels. In my opinion, the 2-1 makes for a much more ridable Banshee with an improve power delivery. If you are looking for all out top horse power for drag racing, this is not your set up though. Bottom line is, if you ride you quad on trails or through the dunes, a 2-1 is a good upgrade. If you do mostly drag racing and little other riding, then big duels are better.
