1" PVC pipe, I know 3 shops that are plumbed this way. I believe it's rated at 150 psi. I know our shop at work is set at 125 and no problems and easy to fix.

 

 

seen many shops done like that , i did my dadsa house like that but only like 10 feet of pvc.

i built like 3 or 4 shops when i was in iraq all out of pvc it held up never a problem just use shut off valves and maybee a hose real since your shop is not that big

Copper or black pipe is what I'm fermiliar with, used black pipe in the machine shop I used to work at, and copper at home, be sure to use a large dia. small dia. is a common problem and leads to poor cfm.

That garage pack stuff is sweet though.

I have 1 inch pvc in my garage and i use all day every day and it is set at 150 psi and has been working for 6 yrs. without a pop and have 5 air line hookups on it
