Bandit Posted November 25, 2006 Report Posted November 25, 2006 I just got a used trinity 35mm today and took out the main and it seemed a little small. Does a main jet of #158 sound small? and what size pilot would you think that would be with that? I cant get the pilot jet out and thats why i ask. The notch in the top of jet you use to unscrew it one side is broke off and i cant get a bite on it to take it out. Quote
fox_forma Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 I believe that could be kinda small for the 35 2into1 but I have also seen the numbers all over the board as well. As for getting your pilot out, just use a really small bit extractor, should come right out with no problems, I had to do that before as well when the same thing happened Quote
Bansh-eman Posted November 29, 2006 Report Posted November 29, 2006 are you used to running stock carbs? the numbers on stocker are much higher! in the 300's for a 35pwk your going tobe running around 150-160 main depending on elevation Quote
Bandit Posted November 29, 2006 Author Report Posted November 29, 2006 my stockers have 260's and the new carb has a 158 in it. I havent done a plug chop yet, but it seems to work good with set up so far. Quote
