I am the most non-racist person you will meet. A lot of times when your angry you will say the most hurtful thing you can think of, I agree it's not the right thing to do, especially while in public, and richards should be held responsible. I don't get up at my job and yell anything at people never mind racial slurs, so I don't think he should either. But I'm not going to sit here and act like it's completely unheard of. Well put, he should of controlled his anger, but shit, while by myself or with someone who I know I wont offend I have made racial comments out of anger.... I dont consider myself a racist, far from it at that. He just blew up, and the media blew it up. I Think that hating someone for their color or race is wrong. But, I also feel that if you want to be a racist that is ok too. That my friends is the american way. I do not like the KKK, I think their motives are stickly out of hate and have no real logic. I believe in racial profiling. If we are at war with iraqi terrorists, then we should keep our on on all of them going through the airports. Not saying that a white male wouldnt do it also, but its a lower probability. I say screw it, say what you want, believe what you want, but you also better be prepared to deal with the consequences of your actions or words. You are going to piss some people off, and be ready for a smack down if you piss the wrong people off. Use common sense, dont run around yelling nigger in a black neighborhood (just slide on by and hope you make it out alive). Dont start shit with a commedian and expect that he isnt going to respond with something that will piss you off. You dont like his show, then leave. You dont have to sit there and listen to a shitty comedian. But show some damn respect, the guy is out there trying to do his job and make a few bucks. Those black guys started that shit, and expected a response. They are just ignorant assholes who should have just left. Big Blue Posted November 22, 2006 Report Share Posted November 22, 2006 I found it interesting in a statistical report that many of you may have seen in your local papers just a couple days ago. It made a comparison between Asians, Caucasians, African Americans, and Mexicans. It compared educational backgrounds, avg income, home ownership etc.. What I really found interesting is that Mexican Americans were the least educated of the 4 groups but had a higher avg income and more owned their own homes than African Americans. The Caucasion and Asians income was proportional to their eduction. AA were below avg based on their education and Mexicans were above avg based on their education. Because of their work ethic more Mexicans are able to stay out of poverty. Anyway just some statistics. Around here with the hispanics there are a couple of families or a group living in one house all contributing, saving money that way and sending it home. What you do and your actions based on someones skin color/ethnicity constitutes the "racism" that is going around. Nobody gave a shit when Richard Prior was calling people crackers on stage, Or Chris Rock, or hell Dave Chapelle doing skits on comedy central. Remember the Niggers skit? Yeah what he said was wrong, theres also people in that audience that laughed, and one that you can plainly hear calling him a crackerass-motherfucker. So eh if your 30y/o at a comedy club talking or heckling the comic you deserve whatever you get. I can guarantee you a white guy in a comedy club on the southside of Chicago would have been given the same treatment only with different words persuent to his skin color. His biggest mistake was going on Letterman and apologizing, nobody gave a shit. Honestly I do not think anyone truly will till hypocritcal groups like the NAACP, Al Sharpton, Jesse, etc. aren't held on this high platform like gods and actually have to do what is right based on the circumstance and not because the person is black.
