rynb15 Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 My bike right now has the 2 k&n pod filters with no air box. Thats the way it came. The problem is where i ride sometime i have to go through water. And i have to go about 1mph so water doesnt get in the carb. I was looking at stock air boxes on ebay and it dosnt look like it will fit witht the filters. what should i do? stock air box and filters? Quote
Infamous039 Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 I would say get the stock air box with the ProDesign filter set-up. Run it without the air box lid and also dont forget to get the outerwear which is extra protection. I also ride in trails with water and everything you can name and this is the setup I run with no problems with water splashes. Quote
Bansh-eman Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 im sure you can find someone on here that has an old stock air box that they will give you for shipping amount... just get a proflow adaptor and a k&n and youll be ok... Quote

differentstrokes Posted November 22, 2006 Report Posted November 22, 2006 Just buy a stock airbox with the proflow already installed, I see them on ebay all day for around $50-60 bucks  Quote
Mullet Man Posted November 22, 2006 Report Posted November 22, 2006 i'll trade a stock airbox with lid, Toomey filter and airbox vents, for your pod filters... Quote
