Bandit Posted November 18, 2006 Report Posted November 18, 2006 I have a 97 banshee. The engine is stock but i have fattys and snorkle removed. Im putting a trinity 2 into 1 carb setup on it. Im wondering does anyone know around what jet size i would start with? Quote
bansheeseat$$ Posted November 18, 2006 Report Posted November 18, 2006 Asuming your going to put a 35 mm setup on it I would start with 190 mains and a dek needle in the fourth grove from the top with a 50 pilot and go from there. Quote

differentstrokes Posted November 18, 2006 Report Posted November 18, 2006 That might be pretty rich with an airbox, I'd say a 180-185 main and 48 pilot with the needle in the 3rd clip. The 190 and 50 worked good with a clamp on for me, but was still a little rich. Jared Quote
thack Posted November 20, 2006 Report Posted November 20, 2006 1 was running 180 main and a 52 piliot wth ps pipes and k&n filter here in franklin ohio when i had my 2 into 1 carb Quote
sredish Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 you'll have to visually inspect the needle if you want to know which ones in there. i've seen 2 or 3 different ones sent from trinity; almost like they're just putting leftovers in there. IMO, and I've worked with the single carb A LOT, the EEK needle is by far the best on a "stock" ported bike. The DEK works better on a ported bike. So, call carbparts.com, order up an EEK and put the DEK in the toolbox for when you get your bike ported. Quote
