Generally a-arms are cheap, around 25-30 dollars color pending, for each arm. So about 120 dollars. FYI you can not coat stockers though, because the ball joints are non removable.

How come you cant powdercoat stock a arms. If you take the boots off, it should be fine. Its all steel??? Just tape off the ball joints so they dont get coated.

they are baked at like 400* for around an hour. the ball joints tends to weld themselves to the socket in the A-arm in that kind of environment.

Not quite 400 but 350-380 and yes the ball joints bind up afterwards.

The grease is gone after the prep. but it will ruin the ball joint. I have a set I can show what happens after they go through the over. But cant post it till I get back from vacation.
