87_shee Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 Where do all you Canadian guys but your parts...I usually go ebay but it can get expensive with all the extra border costs and not to mention all the scammers and my Stealership is no better.. I am currently rebuilding a motor and would like to add a coolhead but they want 500$$ at the local Yamaha.....Seems way to expensive for me. Do I have any other options? Quote

ToomeySheeLE Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 (edited) I order everything expect OEM yamaha parts from the USA. I do alot of shopping with Rocky Mountain.. They tend to be way cheaper than anything i can get around here, even once shipping and duties are added in. www.rockymountainatv.com Also if you want more selection.. magicracing.com seem to have alot of stuff as well. I know that we have royal distributing up here, but they are way over priced im my opinion and dont carry all that much.. Good Luck Oh.. and speaking of wanting a cool head.. I ordered mine directly from Noss Machine.. Worked out well with quick shipping : ) Edited November 16, 2006 by ToomeySheeLE Quote
steverb Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 Live in BC and we don't have any shops for parts unless you want to pay threw the nose. So I order stuff from the states like rocky mountain, alba and if you look threw the dirt wheels mag you can find a lot of good shops if you don't want to pay so much for customs pick it up from a freight company on the other side of the border I bought some paddles and rims and it was 20.00 for costumes. Or have it sent by regular us mail ups is a rip off . Quote
ToomeySheeLE Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 UPS will assrape you like its going out of style. Anything I order I have shipped USPS (United states parcel post) it will be delivered to your nearest post office and is usually about 1/2 the price of UPS deliveries. Also you can ask the seller if they can put a lower amount of value on the package, that way you will save more money once it arrives. If its something huge like a frame or complete motor I'd look into having it delivered by freight. Quote
