06BaNsHeE Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006 All watches serve the same purpose and tell the same time.IMO I would get it and sell it and buy something really worth that much.I just dont dee myself wearing a 5000 dollar watch.Nice watch tho. Quote
Mullet Man Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006 (edited) LOL they make fakes aswell that sweep or tick. Show me the box with they come in with the registration card . I have a fake one aswell as a real one , and you can tell the difference just by looking at them. ( they both tick " real " ) but the weight difference and band apperance is just rediculous noticable. i thought all Rolex's, real ones, only had a smooth continuous sweeping motion of the "seconds hand"? no tick whatsoever. seabass Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 Most famous calculator watch..... Alex P. Keaton, "Family Ties". Damn, I always was jealous of that watch! Quote
PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 You could hire an illegal immigrant to wear a timex and follow you around for that kind of money. I had a Rolex, it had a continuos sweep and didn't tick, $35 on the street in DC. I dropped it getting ready for football practice and it hasn't worked since. The local rolex jeweler wanted $90 just to open it up and see what was wrong with it though so maybe it was stolen. Quote
