I just got my banshee a couple weeks ago. It already has had some work done to it. I have never ridden a banshee before this one and all i can say is that it hauls a$$. Anyway here is whats done to it.

 

its an 02, stock stroke and crank,

.40 wsm pistons that was bored from stock

milled .30 head

stock carb main jet 310,

dirt digger clutch,

full pro circuit exhuast

adj. stator plate set +5

vforce 3 reeds and cages and spacer

boost bottle

powerblades

k&N PODS

 

Any othere little things i should do to it? Im new to the world of the banshee(came from the 4strokes :down: )

 

But with the mods listed do you think it could spank a 450? It sure feels like it would but havent raced one yet. :thanks:

alot of ppl will say ditch the boost bottle.. but i had one on and it didnt hurt anything... it just doesnt help... if your running a reed spacer pull that thing out theres no advantage to it... they are used to make bigger carbs clear the clutch arm..

 

as far as spanking a 4stroke i dought it but beat it yea if you can ride well... it all depends if they can ride and what they have done ...

ya i have been reading on here and found the same thing you just said about the bottle and spacer. But it runs fine so ill just leave it in there.

DITCH THE BOOST BOTTLE (BLOCK EM OFF) PULL THOSE SPACERS AND BUZZ THAT LIP OUTTA THOSE STOCK INTAKES WITH A DREMEL WITH A SANDING DRUM BIT AND YOULL SEE A CHANGE

If your bike is running right with 310s it should blow away a 450 no contest.

BUT: been hearing lots bad about WSM pistons and WHY THE F... would someone bore stock cyls 40 over? -Just took several lifetimes off em. Otherwise sounds like a decent ride if the maint. has been kept up.

thats just what the guy told me. But it hasent been to long since the guy built it. earler this year. But it does run pefect.

WSM PISTONS SUCK I HATE TO TELL YA IV HAD NO LUCK WITH THEM ON GAS OR ALKY FOR THE 40 OR 50 BUCKS DIFFERENCE YOUD BE A FOOL NOT TO USE PROLITES ON ANY REBUILD YOU DO
