Just one more reason to hate people that trash our riding areas:

I was riding with some friends at Pismo last Saturday night, and the old Banshee was running great. I was going around the top of a slip face, almost topped out in second gear, when I heard a loud thump under me, and the quad stopped immediately. I had seen something fly out behind me, but didn't know what it was until I stood up and looked back. I had run over and popped up a glass Starbucks bottle which was completely buried in the sand. The bottle hit just right and snapped my chain, without even breaking the glass bottle! Luckily the chain didn't get bound up and break something else.

We had to tow the Banshee back to camp, simply because some low-life piece of sh*t decided that the dunes were a good place to throw away a small glass bottle. The death penalty is too humane for these scumbags!

Littering anywhere is shitty. I gave my co-worker a ride a couple days ago and he had the audacity to drop a paper cup out my window into a parking lot we were pulling out of. At first I thought he was kidding. I bitched at him for like five minutes after that.

But sorry about what happened bro.

Check this shit out...

Two trip ago I was heading back to campat night and my friend was leading us home. I hit a bump and the rear end locked up and almost threw me off the quad. What was it? A fucking bed that somebody had drug out into the middle of the dunes and burned! It was wrapped so badly around my axle, tires, and swingarm that there was no way I could have unwrapped it by hand. Luckly I managed to get a hold of my girlfriend who was back at camp on the two way, and she was able to send my friend back out after me with a pair of snips. It still took 10 min of cutting and pulling to get that God damn mess out of the back of the quad. Let me tell you, a burnt up bed buried in the sand is not something that I would expect to see in the middle of the dunes.
