ZillaRider02 Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 I ordered clamp on filters, more jets and a carb synch tool from Jeff. I think there is still more to be had in my setup with some fine tuning. Anyways, what's the best way to tie up the wiring that the stock airbox held (Clips on the right side of the box). I'd really prefer to hide all of it if possible. Quote
okbeast Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 PM doyle or austin, they did this awhile back to austin's shee. How much was the sync tool from Jeff? Quote
RNBRAD Posted October 23, 2006 Report Posted October 23, 2006 There's a tab at the back right used for the airbox. Use a wire ring and secure them there. Quote
Bansh88 Posted October 23, 2006 Report Posted October 23, 2006 Best, easy way I've seen is ziptied along the frame. Really don't see them unless someone is really checking out your bike. I'm lazy so I just threw one zip tie here and there and kinda let them rest at they like. The innerds of your bike are gonna lookk so clean and wide open that a few wires aren't even gonna be noticed. Good job getting rid of that airbox! Quote
Bansh-eman Posted October 23, 2006 Report Posted October 23, 2006 polish had this on his bike and it looked clean so i did it to mine... use zipties and get some freeflow hose and cut small sections of it and rap it around the frame and run it threw the freeflow and around the wires and tie it up...holds it away from the pipes so they dont melt... ZillaRider02 Posted October 23, 2006 Author Report Posted October 23, 2006 Thanks guys. The Synch tool from Jeff was the same as filling my truck with gas  . RNBrad, my tabs on the frame have been removed. The airbox was held up with some neat looking clamps that wrapped the frame. Quote
