i went today and had shorter vavle stems installed and it still hits the brake caliber, so does anyone know where i can get some invisible stems? if not then where should i drill a hole in the rim on the other side?

I Posted this already but if you scroll down and look at the bottom you will see my topic, but i went to discount tire and had them order me some flush mount valves for almost 20 bucks it was like 18.50 or something and it came in a pack of 4, they installed it on my front rims and when i get my dune rims im going to put the other 2 i have left on those but yeah to answer your ? Flush Mount Valves :beer:

pull regular rubber valve stems in backwards(butt out)

then drill a new valve stem hole in the barrel(the flat part) of the wheel......

did it on my 03 blaster and it worked awesome.....

alot cheaper then 18.50 for flust mounts

I had a set drilled and had no problems..........with the flush kit wouldn't you have to take the wheel off to check air pressure or put air in

I've got multiple sets of rims that have been drilled and have not had a single problem with them.

I'd rather get a 3.00 valve stem, drill the rim on the "new" outside, and be able to check the air pressure in my tires without having to take the rim off....

 

Tell you what, better get a steering stabilizer though...it'll rip your bars out of your hands a lot easier...
