yfz450 Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 Bought mine for $1300 last week. Runs great, and already had K&N pods, Renthal bars and Wiseco pistons. Quote
LiftdT4R Posted October 11, 2006 Report Posted October 11, 2006 Most definately. I paid 1150 for a 2002 in decent shape that ran strong. I kind of got lucky on it, I wasn't really looking to pick anything up, but for the price, I couldn't resist. If your willing to wait on one, and yu don;t need anything quick you obviously have a better chance. Here's a pic by the way, it's also the 02 in my sig that I fucked up a few weeks back. Quote
01bansheefox Posted October 11, 2006 Author Report Posted October 11, 2006 Yeah but you guys are back east..... Over here on the west coast they go for an arm and a leg. The cheapest I found was an 1989 ALL stock for $2800. All the 2000-2005's are $4,000+ stock or not. If you see a banshee under $2000 in my area its very rare. Quote
Infamous039 Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 Yea you just have to shop around. Get yourself one of those Motorcycle Ad books from the grocery store or local store. I purchased mine for $1400 and it came with FMF Pipes, New Tires, and a couple other mods. Be patient I guarantee you will find something. Quote
blak banshee Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 damn man I havent seen banshees for under 2500. usually 3k -3500. Where you looking cause I want to find a cheap one for my brother to ride. Quote
Infamous039 Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 Man just look in those Ad books. You know how they have AutoShopper books, they also have books with ATV's and Motorcycles in it. You can find a ton of banshee's and other quads for good prices, I have seen a couple Banshee's in the range of $1800 and $2300 a while back. Quote

01bansheefox Posted October 12, 2006 Author Report Posted October 12, 2006 Looking at your info your all from the East side of the states, I hardly doubt you will find any year banshee under $2000 here in Ca unless its just a roller or has a blown motor "MAYBE" Quote
Infamous039 Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 The bikes on the WestCoast are probably so expensive, because you guys have more sand pits and avaliable places to ride at. Also its always warm out there so you ride year round. On the eatscoast it gets cold as hell, and people start there rebuilds for next spring or just sell there bikes. Quote
LiftdT4R Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 Damn, never thought about it being harder to find a shee cheap on the east coast. When I get my '01 back together maybe I'll take my other banshee out there, and get double what I paid for it. Would be nice. It seems most people here are looking for woods bikes and such, not too many wide open areas here, so I guess the banshees are a little lower in price. Good luck though, you never know, Quote
