well just got back from silver Lake

anyways, I noticed that I had ALOT of coolant in my oil

I actually had to fill the radiator several times.... I wanted to ride though

so I'm back home now, with my milky oil

I know the common impeller seal problem, so I'm guessing that that is it (ive never changed mine (easy to do?)

could it be anything else?

thanks in advance

to get the new impeller seal in there is a fukin bitch! ... your going to need to keep your old one to use it to hit the new one in all the way.. buy some assembaly grease and grease that fuker up before you try to put it in... its really ez to change just hard to get it to go all the way in without tearing up your new one...

yea it could be your crank seals too

your crank seal wont let coolant into your trans...

yeah i agree with big blue, it wasn't hard at all. Just some lube and a socket that is the same size as the outside of the seal and it goes right in.

on another note its not crank seals, they don't hold coolent out.

Another thing that it could be is the little o-ring that is on the metal pipe that your side case pops over. This goes bad before your water pump seal does, but when it goes bad it lets more coolent flow outside and on top of your cases rather than in your oil. If I were you check the oring first, then if it checks out allright go to the water pump seal.

I thought it was easy to change, I use a socket that was about the same size and knocked it in.

then you guys have good ones or mine just sucks ass.. it was a really tight fit! i ruined one using a socket and had to get a new one and use the old seal to hit it in with... it was rediculose how hard it was to get it to go in there... it would drop about half way in and then STOPPED... but its in there now so im not worried about it...
