herbanshee Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 Just rebuilt the topend of my banshee. Prior to rebuilding the clutch worked fine. While engine was apart I didnt even touch the clutch housing nor did I even disconnect the cable from the engine. Tried to take it for its first run and bike wants to jump forward and die when you put it into gear. When bike isnt running I tried to put it into gear, pull the clutch and roll it..........and it wont roll. Acting like its not disengaging. I tried every adjustment on the pertch. Cable is free. Its pulling the lever all the way back at the motor............still nothing??? So it has me stumped. Why wouldnt it work, if I didnt touch it and it worked fine before???? All suggestions appreciated! Quote
easyrider470 Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 On the engine case where the clutch cable connects there is an arrow stamped into the case....where is the clutch lever pointing when the clutch is released.....what about when you fully engage the clutch......let us know??? Quote
Bansh-eman Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 the lever on the top of the case like said has arrows... push the lever by hand and it should almost match up to the arrow on the case... unless your as Dajr says Superman Quote
