Ultimateduner Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 I got my banshee dynoed a couple of weeks ago and it came up as 56.4 horse power. Is that good for the mods that I have?( listed in my sig) If not what should I be getting? Any info is appreciated. Thanks Quote
badassbanshee479 Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 seems alittle low for a dune ported bike with cpis, who ported the motor?? are you running stock carbs?? what was your air fuel ratio at?? do you happen to have a copy of the dyno graph?? Quote

Polish Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 My Old banshee had T-5's and my cylinders were not bored, but basicly had everthing else you have.....(ported milled....ect.....ect).........and I squeezed 58HP............yours sounds a little low.......... :baseball_bat: Quote
Animalman294 Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 Yeah, I was thinkin' around 60-65 hp on that set up. Are you sure it is jetted and dialed in right? .............. Quote

switchblade Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 Shit I hope so... I had D&M racing dial and jet the carbs... your stock carb are holding you back. Try a little larger carb and you should pic up a few horse. All dyno's are differant they can vary 10 to 15 % from dyno to dyno. What time of day did you dyno? You make the most power in the morning when its nice and cool. I would be to worried about the number a dyno is just a tuning tool. I would judge your bike on how it runs on the track or with how it does with other bikes. Quote

Thanks I got my shee Dyno tested few weeks ago by D&M and it pulled 63hp with the mods on my signature. I don't think you are that off, the difference would be the 18cc (197psi) and the CDI box I got my banshee dynoed a couple of weeks ago and it came up as 56.4 horse power.
