Ok, I recently installed new K&N Filters with Outerwear (here )

So I install them, but everything back on. The start it up.

I expected it to sound different, since I took out the airbox completely and got rid of the stock filter crap. But I didn't expect it to run to different.

I get it into the field outside my house and attempt to open it up, I runs fine in first gear, but as soon as I shift into second, it bogs out. It bogs till 1/2 throttle, then runs fine, then if you give it more gas then 1/2 it won't go any faster, it'll stay the speed of 1/2. It does this in every gear but 1st, which runs somewhat fine.

What do I need to do? Did I install it wrong? If it's jetting (which I figured it is) what do I need to change? I still have the stock jetting configuration.

Also I've never changed jetting before so I have no idea what to do if it is that.

Here are some pics of them installed.

EDIT: Although it looks like the filter is getting hit by the sticking out peice that the airbox was on, it's not. It's just touching the outerwear, the filter isn't touched.

you need to rejet for it, you now have a shitload of more3 air coming into your motor then what you had before.

once you rejet it you will see a HUGE differance from your box being on.

its your mains for sure. and you might have to change your pilots.

Yeah but I don't have the faintest idea how. Even after reading the tutorial on the board, I do'nt know where anything is on the carb, nor where to change.

Bigger or smaller on the mains? What size do you reccommend?

I have no idea what it is now, but it's stock. So if there's somesetting they have all around on stock, then it's that.

Im not sure what A stock main is(200/210?)but with no airbox you would need at least A 300.The pilot should be fine for now,to change the mains pull the carbs out, take off the bowls and there they are in the center with A little number stamped on it.The pilots are right next to the main in the little hole,1/8in flathead screwdriver to remove.

EDIT....................Just seen you have stock pipes,so mabey A 240 or 250,I dont know.
