Polished Grills

i bought an alba polished grilll and i just seems like it make the bike run alot hotter

doesnt seem to have enough holes for air to go in but lots off people have them so they cant be that bad?

whats your comment on this ?

I think I have the same problem, except I have a cascade grill. It burps antifreeze after about an hour. It runs fine but I dont want to kill my baby. :shrug:

Bought my second shee used and it came with a louvered grill. First ride, it started burping after a hillclimb. I pulled the grill and stashed it in some dunegrass and kept riding. Couldn't overheat it without that grill, not even close. I probably should have bent that grill up but I just left it there; it's probably overheating someone else's bike now.

How much of an improvement did the star shift make? And what do you think of the proshift kit? THNX.

Dealer said the water should be just over the inside fins, not to the top or it will just burp it out.

Honestly, I couldn't tell much difference. The star is supposed to help getting into neutral, but been having problems with getting the clutch to release fully. Shee wants to creep and it's real hard to find neutral. And yes all the adjustments are right. Gonna get rid of the Toomey clutch and get the FAST setup and move on from there. I have Blaster pegs which needs a real short shifter, and this is making it worse with less leverage and throw on the shift lever. The proshift is supposed to be a good mod, and I am planning on sticking one in when I do the new clutch. Sorry not much help here, but my mods have each other a bit crossed up and not working just right.
