Bansh-eman Posted August 26, 2006 Report Posted August 26, 2006 you ust getting fibers and steels with hd springs? Quote
locogato11283 Posted August 26, 2006 Report Posted August 26, 2006 i think barnett is junk,,my personal opinion.... Quote
TREELIZARD Posted August 26, 2006 Report Posted August 26, 2006 Soak the clutch in oil before you install it. you dont want to put it together dry. be carefull not to loose the little ball when you remove the pressure plate, check the condition of your clutch basket. if you are replacing the stock clutch, then you can throw away the rubber rings that are in there. when putting it back together you will start with a fiber plate and then you will put in a steel plate and keep alternating them fiber, steel, fiber, steel, you will end with a fiber plate. do not over tighten the bolts that hold the pressure plate because they will strip very easy. make sure to properly adjust the nut in the center of the pressure plate so that your clutch arm lines up with the arrow on the case. its not that hard of a job take your time you'll be ok.
