Handyman Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 Well I just got in the market for some plastics. I saw yesterday that my stock rear plastics are starting to crack and I figure I might as well start looking for some. I was hoping to get some pics of some banshees with red, black, and silver fullbores. they can be a combination of all pics too. I was justr trying to get an idea of what my banshee will look like with full bores. thanks in advance. Quote
Bansh88 Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 where in CA are you? willing to travel to SD? I have a set of Rear Fullbores for sale. Black. Taken out 3 times to Glamis. Excellent condition. I really don't want to ship them. Depending where you are, shipping would be more than the gas money. I really need to sell these plastics. They're just sitting, collecting dust. I live about 5 hours north of you. My brother lives in Chula Vista and a trip down won't bother me any. Promised the wife a trip to Sea World anyways. How much you asking?? Do you by chance have pics or can you get some?? Quote

Handyman Posted August 16, 2006 Author Report Posted August 16, 2006 So what's the story behind getting rid of these?? Quote
Bansh88 Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 I took off the rears of my '02 and loved it. I bought this '06 with the idea of immediately removing the stock plastics to hold onto for historical purposes as they are the last US production year. After moving several times this year, I realized that a loose set of plastics is a pain in the ass so I sold them. I knew I wanted the Fullbore fronts. I didn't really want rears at all but when you run without rears, you need to break off the 2 tabs that come off the frame. Otherwise they just sit there waiting to impail you. As the bike was brand new and I didn't want to start hammering parts off and I wasn't 100% on running no rears, I decided to get some fullbores for the rear. After 3 trips and comparing to my '02, i said to hell with the rears and removed them. I have since hammered off the tabs so there is no going back. That's the long story. Thank you. Quote
