greg_banshee Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 hey fella's i got oil all over the backside of my left side pipe & oil comming out of my exhaust manifolds where the pipes connect & leaking down the front of my cases, duno if comming out of base gaskets or not did anyone else ever have this problem ? i'm thinkin head gasket is gone but its new like 1 month ago ... ??? help please Quote
watkins Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 (edited) What type of oil is leaking out? Is it premix or is it tranny oil (is your tranny oil running low?). Could be a bad crank seal and/or a bad base gasket. Need more info first. Doesnt sound like a head gasket to me. Edited July 31, 2006 by watkins Quote
greg_banshee Posted July 31, 2006 Author Report Posted July 31, 2006 well it seems to be comming out of the o-rings around the pipes on the exhaust manifolds & running down the front of the cases, but its also up higer like on the back side of my left pipe ? & all over the frame suport by the left cylinder, tranny oil is good, seems like premix, i mix 32:1 yamalube, my jetting is 330 mains & 30 pilots with 28's as u can see in my SIG could O-Rings be bad on pipes ? would it spit oil like that ? could i be running to rich ? Quote
Dinner Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 If that seal is bad, then yes it will shoot it and have it leak down the cases. I put two seals on so that it wont leak at all. The two that are in the pipe and two that are on the cylinders. Quote
