But if you paint a frame with car paint and clear coat it will that work or will it just chip like crazy?? Please let me know. And to podwercoat a frame is like what $300.00 Correct? Quote

easyrider470 Posted July 27, 2006 Report Posted July 27, 2006 you also have to think about durability my man.......do you really want to spend all that cash to watch it get chipped and beat up.......cause it's gonna!!!!! doesn'[t matter if you baby it....it's going to chip......it's paint.......and the clear will discolor over time......just stick with the powder coat.....a lot more durable and cost effective...
