I have for sale a 99 yamaha banshee, this bike is worked up its bored out to a 404 and to basically cut it short Its totally worked up, only thing thats stock is the kick starter, foot brake, and front shocks as of now since I killed my other front shocks. This bike comes with a extra 404 kit, extra plastics, extra intakes, extra wire harness, extra rim, extra bumper extra handlebars. This bike must go, just bought a house and must sell it too many toys. Quad runs excellent. I re-built my whole banshee and While I was working on the motor and mounting everything back up my friend was working on the wiring harness and I thought we had the wires for the kill switch hooked up correctly but I guess not. Can anybody describe which wires I need to run the wires from the kill switch too? Im assuming to hook up the key you just need to run the wires to the same spot as for the kill switch since it does the same thing. If anybody can look at their shee and let me know or knows of the top of their head please let me know!!!!! Thanks. post it or email me at [email protected]

i had it on mine a while back.. just wire up a switch using the power wire thats always hot and a ground to the frame with a switch ...I had mine professionally done but thats how it was done.

Im thinking of putting together a possible ATV, Snowmobile (machines of that nature) Trade/swap meet in BETHEL, NY (10 min. from Monticello) I am Planning on doing it sometime around middle to end of November. There will be a small entrance fee and food and beverages available. Plenty of parking and everything will be held indoors but easy accessible for cars, trucks or trailers to drive in and unload if needed. **Please give a personal response on if you think its worth it or not**.. Trying to get an idea of if its worth setting up or not..

For those of you who have a temp gauge what does your banshee usually run around and what do you consider too hot...??????? Let me know please. I dont know if this is a dumb question or not but whatever. Also whats the benefits if any of running the gas oil mix with more oil then 32:1 or whatever its suppose to be..? What do most of you guys run what mixing ration. Thanks./

I got a banshee bored out to a 404. It seems to not be running incorrectly..Its hard to start, seems to be overheating because I blew the water pump Impeller, the bearing and the seal. It also bogs during take off/acceleration in second gear. It does not have the right needles in the carb but it was originally tunned precise to run good. Is there any suggestions on what size needle to put in or what you think I should do before i bring it to the stealership??????? Thanks for all your help..

I dropped off my frame to the powder coater and as of now im getting a silver vein which is black with a silver vein in it hence the name. But my last frame was yellow with blue plastics and it was almost impossible to sell. What color do you guys think I should do Gloss black, Graphite Grey or the Silver Vein ?? Let me know asap what you guys think im confussed now Thanks.

I have a frame now that is powdercoated and I know it is stronger. But if you paint a frame with car paint and clear coat it will that work or will it just chip like crazy?? Please let me know. And to podwercoat a frame is like what $300.00 Correct?

[Nope im doing everything my old frame broke so I am moving everything over except a-arms got new ones because they broke too.. actually the a-arms led to the frame braking. anyway. yea hopefully it wont be too bad. Any recomendations with pulling the motor out or anything that gave you a bit of a hard time???

Yes my a-arms do need reaming. Actually My old A-arms were Timmy Boy Racing. And my whole quad is worked but I dont remember is they needed to be reamed. The new ones do tho.

Can someone tell me exactly what has to be done and how you ream the hubs. Do you just make the hole bigger and re tap it or what?? Sorry for the dumb question.
