awesomeame Posted July 23, 2006 Report Posted July 23, 2006 ??? this was the culprit, a broken tie rod oh yeh, and i clipped a tree like i barely touched it i thought ! :-D my leg is a bit bruised up and hurting, but other then that it's all good. bike needs a new tie rod, a-arms, & spindle though. rim is a bit banged up as well but appears to be holding air. --matt Quote

Soupbox660 Posted July 23, 2006 Report Posted July 23, 2006 That looks familiar Woo hoo! If you aren't breakin stuff, you aren't riding hard enough....... Well to a point. LOL Quote
BenBB Posted July 24, 2006 Report Posted July 24, 2006 ??? Juuuuuuuust a little too much toe-in heh  I snapped one of 'em myself at the last race, thankfully didn't hit a tree heh. Anyway after having it happen several times I'm finally upgrading to Honda style tie rods & ends (female threaded ends and a solid rod), RMA carries Tusk for about $105 (free freight over $100), I found some at www.trailtracksand.com for $90 ($102 with freight) and will see how well they hold up...
