Im new to the site and was wondering if someone knew the horsepower my bike is putting out. mods consist of fmf fatties with power core II, boost bottle, pro flow k&n filter and powerlid just purchased t-rex big bore kit to 393cc and 36m carbs and advanced the timing.

just a wild guess.. 55to65hp

Not really familiar with the TRex stuff but I think ^ is probably pretty close. That TRex have any porting done? I do know you have to port the hell out of them to really wake them up. Talk to K&T about porting that TRex. They are the primary seller and porter for the Trex. They can make those cylinders scream.

i really dont know to much about it myself. they said it was ported though. i just came back from armagosa dunes and got smoked by another banshee that my neighbor has.. the worst part is im the one that sold it to him for $600.

$600???????????? Hey, if you feel the urge to sell your current bike because it is too slow :yelrotflmao: let me know.

J/K

exactly 600. then he took it and put 2500 into it. but no big bore kit though.. beat him all day long on the take off then he passes me 1/2 way up the hill

I'm gettin 64-66hp on the dyno with a stock bore/stroke 350cc.

The secret is ALL in the porting, imo.

I've beat a couple "BIG BORE" Banshees at the dunes and EVERY beefed-up NOS'ed 4-Stroke I've ever raced!

My buddies give me shit about this but I believe in getting rid of as much weight as possible from the quad. Every ounce helps!!!

I think I might put my front brakes back on though :baseball_wibble:

the secret is in the porting is only partially right! port timing is what matters on the port.but u must have the rest of the setup to be able to get more horse,if u case port your cases to your cylinders you will add around 2 hp,,if you dont have big enough carbs youll rob hp as well as the right pipes,,, reeds matter, tuning is a big part in getting the highest hp!
