What mods do you have to your bike. What type of riding do you do?

Heres some help

Taller front sprocket= More top end speed

Smaller rear sprocket= More top end speed

Smaller Front Sprocket= More acceleration Less top end speed

Taller Rear= More acceleration less top end speed

1 tooth added or subtracted form the front is like adding or subtracting 3 teeth from the back

What exactly do you need more top end for? I just swapped my 16t front for a 14t the top end does you very little good in 300ft sand drags and at the dunes a 16t is to big in my opinion. If you want a little more top end go up to a 15 in the front that is kind of a happy medium

Depends on what you are doing. I ride some trails, gravel pits, sand pits and roads. Right now i am at 13/40 because thats the length of chain i have :ermm: At this ratio im only running around 95km/h, sure its great for acceleration, but im in 6th wayyy to quick, and would like more top for the roads. So i'm going to go back up to 14/40 and see how i like it, if i want more top, then up to a 15 in front, if i can pull it :baseball_whistle:

Maybe this can help you figure out what you want:

What gearing shiould i be running for topend but i want acceleration to.

Alot of this depends on what size tire your running what terrain ur ridding on and what mods you have.I ran 15/41 with 20'' tires on dirt and liked it pretty well.I switched to 18'' tires and got porting and now i run thourgh the gears so fast its redicoulis.Ive got a 16 that im going to try and im going to order a 17 because the mods just keep piling up everyday and the gears just keep getting shorter and shorter.
