flipcarre Posted July 2, 2006 Author Report Posted July 2, 2006 So i guess from all the other topics i've seen, i should get pipes first, what else should i do? Quote
watkins Posted July 2, 2006 Report Posted July 2, 2006 Pipes are a good start, but the very first thing I would do before getting pipes is get rid of the stock air filter... its a POS and will just cause problems. Get an airbox adapter and then either a K&N or UNI filter. After that then ditch TORS and the POS Parking break... that will give you a good running stock shee.... then you can mod the hell out of it with Power mods... just my $0.02. Quote
Rustbag Posted July 2, 2006 Report Posted July 2, 2006 (edited) Welcome! eventually after the mods mentioned ur gonna want a port job. then it will really scream. < he pities da fool who drives a 4stroke Edited July 2, 2006 by Rustbag Quote
enFORCER Posted July 3, 2006 Report Posted July 3, 2006 Congratulations on the new Banshee! You have just purchased one of the finest quads ever made. You can MX or drag, and anything in-between. Just remember, the more money you add, the faster it will go. So be careful! Quote
MILO Posted July 3, 2006 Report Posted July 3, 2006 welcome to the hq. you've definitely come to the right place for banshee info. besides the hq, buy a clymer's manual. for $30 you'll have nearly all the step by step repair info you'll need at your fingertips. congrats on the new shee. mine is without a doubt the most addictive, costly, time consuming, fighting wife instigator i've ever owned. :yelrotflmao: you have no idea what you've gotten yourself into :shoothead: Quote
flipcarre Posted July 3, 2006 Author Report Posted July 3, 2006 lol, along the way i'll learn some new stuff and after time and money, we'll see whos is more addictive Quote
Polish Posted July 3, 2006 Report Posted July 3, 2006 Welcome.........your going to need a 12 step program for banshees.............were all addicted  Quote

I know all the years are the same but that feeling of having brand new bike is a great feeling. It is, i wanted an old one, you know fix up and be proud that i fixed it, but then i was like its prolly gonna cost more and take more time to rebuild the whole thing, so i went to my canadian yamaha dealer :baseball_w00t: Quote
