Bunny771 Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 I recently got my first banshee and its a 01. It has minor rust on rear axel, swing arm, exhaust, some dots on the front suspension and some spots on the frame. I want to take care of this rust so my banshee has that new new shined up look. I was wondering if anyone can point in the proper direction as to the the paints that need to be used to properly protect it from wear. Thanks Quote
dawarriorman Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 Pretty much any paint you use is not going to last forever. I just went to the auto parts store, and found a spray paint that came close, and put a few coats on the bare spots. If you want it to last, you need to have the whole frame powdercoated. Quote
Animalman294 Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 If you want it to last, powder coating is the way to go................. Quote
