If you are looking for people to ride with, get some paddles and meet us out at Glamis or Gordons well next season, or if you are brave enough come along on one of our night rides this summer. The dunes are only like a 2 hr drive (i think) from that part of AZ... (takes me longer from SD to get there) trust me you will never regret going to the dunes.

Hassayampa river basin. It is 1/2 hour West of goodyear AZ. Lots of people there all of the time. Some nice areas to ride, kind of sandy/ dirt. Can camp out under the overpass.

Good luck
