Thanks guys!!!! I guess I'll have to save just a little more $. I will probably get a new basket first. I heard the Hinson basket won't take the most punishment because the bolts are a little smaller then other aftermarket baskets. Who makes/sells a good basket at a good price? That will be my first purchase.

A 4mm stroker crank= cheap. A 7mm stroker crank=twice as much. Assuming I can trench the case myself to save $, is the 7mm cub setup that much stronger than a 4mm? I weigh about 180lbs, and want to asphalt drag, but will probably dirt drag the majority of the time. I heard the 10mm stroker is better for hills but not as desireable if I want to run 1/4 mile? Which crank/cub setup does everyone recommend for drags?

i have a Nate McCoy 7mm and it runs like a raped ape. his 4mm s are faster than most 7 and 10mms. call nate 530-476-2222.

who did u hear this from? my 10mm cub has lasted me a dune trip, and 3 hillclimbs now with no issues..just wondering where that info is comin from so i can read about it. as far as price difference i think a lot depends on whether or not you already have a head, reeds, etc...

Yes my 535 cheetah use's cr 250 cages i believe some guys had problems using the delta 2's braking. Not sure about the delta 3 so I stayed away from the delta's using at this moment stock cr250 reeds no problems yet. I never heard anybody having problem's with reeds using either 2's or 3's on 10/mm cubs though. Just the bigger cheetah's.
