apbt549 Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 i got some brand new 33mm pwk carbs now the bike doesn't seem like it has the torque or snap like it did with the stock ones .but now the bike has toomey t-5 on it when i had it it had pt mids.do you think its the difference in the bikes or are the carbs to big for the bike ...and should i step back dwon to maybe 28mm carbs ..the bike does not have any porting ..only cool head with 20cc domes lightened flywheel , mod shift star .adjustable timing plate set at +4,clamp on k&n filters .... see the bike got stolen and some one put some 34mm flat slides on it and some toomey t-5 when i got it back i took the flat slide 34mm carbs off b/c i didn't like them and put some 33 pwk's on it ..they also took my paul turner mids off ..and now the bike doesn't run like it did before it was stolen almost has no or lower power from low to mid range when before it would pull real hard from low to mid range ..and most of these mods i did after i got it back.like the timing plate and flywheel and shift star and clamp on k&n were all done after i got it back..i am just wondering if its the carbs is where i am loosing my power from low to mid range or if its just the differnece in the pipes........
