I rode my Banshee this past Sunday and it ran great for most of the day, I turned it off for a little while and then started her up and it would shift through all the gears, but it seems there is no power band and my clutch seems to not be catching. My Dirt Digger clutch is only about 3-4months old. I adjusted the clutch from the lever but it still doesnt catch until I completely let it go. Could this be causing me to loose my power band???? PLEASE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE ON WHAT TO DO?????????

My MODS:

FMF Pipes, +4 timing, Pro design Cool Head 22cc domes, Stock Carbs 310mains and 27.5 piots, 15/41 Gearing, Dirt Digger Clutch, Stock Reeds (3months old), Open Air Box with UNI filter and Outwear, Wiesco Pistions (15 hours on them).

Drain your fluid. Take off the clutch cover. See that little nut and screw head in the middle of the clutch basket. Get out your 8mm and loosen it. With your hand move the little lever where your clutch cable connects near the crank case all the way forward. Now tighten the screw in the center of the basket untill the little notch on the tip of the lever lines up with the (protuberance) on the crank case. Tighten your 8mm lock washer back and make sure you adjust the slack out of the clutch cable up near your handlebars again.

It wasnt acting like that until I was riding back to my truck getting ready to load up and I noticed it was acting funny.

I just fixed it ,my clutch cable was to tight at the handle bars and my pilot jet had a little piece of something in it inside my right carb, I dont know how it got there, but I cleaned the Carbs out and adjusted the clutch cable and now the BANSHEE is ripping like she should be. I think my gas tank has some trash in it that got into my carb, whats the best way of cleaning out the gas tank without using water in it??????????

Thanks Alot Everyone, and next time I will notify you of a problem I come across when were are riding Ellison445 thanks alot man.

first wait till like 2-3 am then go over to the neighbor who is always bitching about you ripping the shee up and down the street and dump out all you fuel in their yard. go home fill the tank part ways up with clean gas swish it around and dump again. do this a couple times and you should be good. or dump it and blow it out with air.

Yea getting caught would suck. Both of my neighbors are always bitching and complaining about me ripping up and down my street, they say that I am disturbing the neighborhood but I do it anyway just to piss them off and laugh at them.

Thanks for the advice I will be cleaning the tank ASAP
