Bought a 2000 banshee has, stage IV port/polish, cool head, pipes, etc. Gonna do an engine overhaul and thinking about making it a stroker. Looking at a 4mm stroker crank 110mm rods and 58mm stroke. It was saying something about the exhaust port being less than 28 MM I need to use a differnet spacer plate? Can someone explain this more(not sure about my exhaust port height with the port job). Also as far as compression and my coolhead will i need to get different domes? Will the pistons hit? will there be an increase or decrease in compression? What pistons to use? Just trying to figure out what all I am going to need. Thanks for the input.

Stay away from the Vito's cranks...they are absolute junk. You need a H129 Wiseco crank, 795 series pistons. Also, I suspect you'll need to run standard base gaskets and stroker domes on that stage IV..otherwise your exhaust duration will be off the charts. Other porting changes need to be made going stroker route regardless(if you want REAL gains)...Jim

I was lookin at the Vitos Crank +4mm stroke and std. length rods. not sure if i want to go with the long rod. If i went with std. rod lengths and increase stroke would i still need the stroker domes or can i just go with the spacer plate. will i still need to worry about exhaust duration? Thanks guys Also just curious why are vitos cranks junk????

That's funny, I never had any problems with mine, but I did assemble true and weld it. :D

They've had problems with Wiseco cranks too...badass will attest to that.

They key is to have a good builder weld and true it properly before it's installed...

Jeff welded the shit out of mine...I'm very confident it'll hold up fine (wiseco crank, by the way...:) )
