98bansh_ Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 I got a 98 Banshee with just fmf gnarly pipes with fmf silencers and 20x10x9 tires. Do you think it will be able to pull a 16 tooth front sprocket? I have 15x41 gearing now and it seems to pull that alright. Im trying to get the most topend I can without it bogging. Quote
98bansh_ Posted May 19, 2006 Author Report Posted May 19, 2006 oops forgot Its for a race on Pavement. Quote
Dead Op Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 I pulled it fine when I ran it last year, I had Fmf Fatty's, +4 Timing, Boyesons, K&N, with bored to 28 carbs. Quote
broke Posted May 20, 2006 Report Posted May 20, 2006 You will have no trouble pulling it on pavement, just make sure your jetting is spot on. High gears are like sand, the more a motor is lugged, the more it will expose a jetting flaw. Quote
98bansh_ Posted May 20, 2006 Author Report Posted May 20, 2006 I got the 16 tooth didnt put it on yet, will soon find out how it pulls. Quote
