fox_forma Posted May 13, 2006 Report Posted May 13, 2006 I picked up a 2000 shee recently and it was wheelied to far back and caused some damage to a few things. The grab bar was toast but it also broke off the left side piece of the mount that is connected to the frame. I have the piece so I'm assuming I can weld it back up. The sub frame I guess you would say is tweaked a little, but not much where the grab bar mounts, I have been searching the forum about how to pull it back but it doesnt seem like I will be able to get enough leverage to. Any tricks to it? It needs to come down a little and to the left. I guess its hard to really explain but i can get pics if needed. Second problem is it has FMF powercore silencers on it and they were also a victim on the wheelie. They were bent a little but I was able to bend them back correctly but the end caps ( spark arreestors maybe?) are pretty messed up and basically trashed. It is the just the ends though, the rest of the tubing is perfectly fine, am i able to replace them? Also it has stock head pipes on it, would the fmf silencers even have any real effect compared to the stock silencers? just wanted to know cause I can get stock silencers for basically nothing and will just swap them out if it will save a headache. And I believe thats it, hopefully someone can shed some light, thanks Quote
DIRTMAN350 Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 Go to FMF website and you can buy new end caps for your pipes. I did right after i bought mine. Quote

fox_forma Posted May 17, 2006 Author Report Posted May 17, 2006 Ok i got the sub frame straightened back out on my own, now I need to weld the tab back on to the left side. Should I disconnect all the electrical stuff to weld it or what? Quote
